Liroq AB, Stockholm
Social games for the digital age
Liroq is an independent studio in Stockholm. We build games that put people in the same room, wherever that room happens to be.
01 / Studio
We make games where the good part is the people, not the pixels.
Four people, one studio, and a habit of shipping. We write the rules, build the software and draw the brand ourselves, which keeps the distance between an idea and a room full of players about as short as it gets.
Two games are out so far. Turing Trap hides a language model in a group of friends and dares them to find it. Krysskort turns a holiday photo into a crossword that someone has to solve before they can read your message. Neither one works without other people, which is the whole point.

How we work
01
The room comes first
A game is working when people look up from their phones and at each other. Every rule we keep has to earn that.
02
Ship it on a Tuesday
Small studio, short loop. We would rather have something real in ten hands this week than something perfect in nobody’s hands next quarter.
03
Machines as players
We use language models where they make a game more surprising. As something to catch, never as a stand-in for the people you are playing with.
